4 1/2 cups flour
1-2 tsp sugar
1 tsp salt
1 tbps olive oil
2 cups warm water + yeast packet *

* Using this recipe it is ok to just use hot sink water without a thermometer, if your sink water is scalding to the touch let the 2 cups of water sit for a moment before adding yeast. After adding yeast let the water sit for a few minutes.

Mix everything in a bowl and keep some extra flour and water on hand to adjust dough's consistency if needed.

Let rise for however long you desire. They say 30 mins but I have baked this after only 7 minutes and it still came out great, so if you are starving and can't wait it is ok.

I tried to decrease the amount of water used to start this dough... I thought this would also decrease the amount of flour that needed to be added to the dough after mostly mixed... while this is true, the consistency is better when there is more liquid at the start as it allows for faster and better homogenization of dough additives...
